Prayers to the Roman Gods: Genius

Almost forgot about this.  It would seem my Genius is of the absent-minded variety, wouldn't it?

Genius of mine,

I ask you for luck and protection.

Keep me safe in your company caringly,

And avert that harm which comes accidentally.

See to success that which I perform,

And prevent fickle fortune from leaving to roam.

Oh Genius, of myself the spirit familiar,

I'll honour and venerate you to my final year.

Genius meus,

Tutaminem et felicitatem posco.

Sic calamitatem vitarem perduce,

Et accidentes possibiles averrunca.

Labores meus ad prosperitatem derige,

Et fortunam ad me permitte celere.

O Genius, spiritus familiaris mentis mea,

Tu honoro veneroque maxime.
